Musical Director Vacancy

Our Musical Director, Felicity Cliffe, is leaving the role to take up further study in September 2023.

We are therefore seeking to appoint a new Musical Director. We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced musician to conduct and lead the musical development of the band.

The successful candidate should have the ability to inspire and enthuse an amateur band, whose members have a range of musical experience, and to participate alongside the band’s committee to create exciting opportunities for musical development and performance.

The Beckenham Concert Band is a community band performing to audiences in the Bromley Borough, South London and beyond.

Applications will close on 7th June, 2023 with interviews and auditions taking place soon after. The successful candidate must be able to take up the post from the end of September 2023.
